Now in her seventies, she spent much of her career in New York’s fast-moving publishing world, rising from an ambitious junior copy editor to a respected senior editor at leading women’s and lifestyle magazines in the tradition of Cosmopolitan. She had a sharp eye for a good story, an even sharper red pencil, and an instinct for knowing what women really wanted to talk about—especially when everyone else was avoiding the subject.
While building her career, Goldie also raised a family and shared 50 years of marriage with the love of her life. After her husband passed away, she grieved deeply but eventually decided that the next chapter of her life would not be spent sitting quietly on the sidelines. Goldie honors the life they shared by continuing to live hers—with curiosity, humor, courage, and excellent taste.

She enjoys her family, treasures her friendships, and is perfectly open to having a boyfriend—provided he is interesting, well-groomed, emotionally available, and capable of making dinner reservations.
